My teaching portfolio comprises courses on finance, decision theory as well as scientific methodology in business research at Bachelor and Master level. The following provides an overview of the courses I have taught so far:

• Critical perspectives on Corporate Governance and CSR (Seminar), MIBAS, Summer 2021 (University of Hamburg)
This Master-level seminar covers selected aspects of the Corporate Governance-CSR nexus, in particular: theories of corporate objectives, heterogeneity and covergence in corporate governance systems, organizational dynamics, performance measurement and regulatory approaches. The focus is on student presentations and written reasoning in order to foster analytical and reflective thinking.

• Financial Markets (Lecture), MSc, Fall 2017/18 and 2018/19 (University of Liechtenstein)
This Master-level lecture provides a condensed review of a standard BSc Finance curriculum for first-semester Master students. The course covers basic principles of financial mathematics, valuation principles for stocks and bonds, efficient markets theory and behavioral anomalies, as well as models of optimal capital structure and agency conflicts.

• Research Methods in Business Research (Lecture), BSc, Fall 2017/18 and 2018/19 (University of Liechtenstein)
This Bachelor-level course introduces students to a variety of research methods used in business research. The course is divided into two parts: quantitative and qualitative. I have taught the qualitative part, which covers the main steps of scientific investigation, including problem identification, critical literature review, establishment of hypotheses, collection of data, data analysis, and report writing. Practical implications with respect to effective management practices and project feasibility will be discussed.

• Decision Theory (Seminar), BSc, Spring 2018 (University of Liechtenstein)
This Bachelor-level seminar provides an introduction into decision theory, including rational choice under certainty, ignorance, and risk, game theory, and behavioral models of choice. In addition to training their competence in logical reasoning, students learn about the intellectual development of the discipline through student inputs on the contributions of related Nobel Prize winners. The seminar consists of interactive lectures, group work as well as student input presentations.

• Quantitative Analysis (Seminar), BSc, Spring 2017 (University of Liechtenstein)
In this Bachelor-level seminar, students develop and train their practical competence in basic econometrics through group projects. The course covers hypothesis formulation and hypothesis testing using parametric and non-parametric approaches. In order to provide a realistic impression of empirical research, students are provided with raw market data or data from my own experimental research. The results of group project are presented and discussed in the final session.

• Risk Management and Derivatives (Lecture), BSc, Summer 2017 (Ramkamhaeng University)
This Bachelor-level course introduces financial derivatives and their applications in financial risk management. Students learn to identify and utilize options, futures, swaps, and credit derivatives. Moreover, they learn to assess and implement these instruments in order to manage financial risks with hedging.
